What do we have in common?

Many times leaders encounter team members that are very different from them. Discuss how you, as a leader, may work to overcome these differences.

Many people think that people who look different like different things. This is not true as we have seen in this activity.

I THINK THAT THIS ACTIVITY WAS COOL, BECAUSE WE LEARNED A LOT ABOUT PEOPLE THAT WE DID NOT KNOW BEFORE.

Even though they may be different you need to respect them. They may have different reasons in coming to work or school, but you need to respect them.

It was very interesting to work with another individual that we did not know. By communicating with the other person, we learned similarities and differences. As we see in this activity, we learn more about a person by simply talking and asking questions.

As in the activity we saw a different side of our unknown people and got to see them in a different way when we worked together.

You, as a leader, may work to get through these differences by realizing that nobody is identically the same, and that you may like some of the things that the other person likes if you only try them first. Don't stereotype people for their common and differences of you; try things and see if you like them.

a. I, as a leader, will work to over come differences by getting know people. Getting to know someone is very important to your team members. Because sometimes you may think you know someone until you have to learn their qualities inside. Doing fun activities also helps you learn more about someone too.

In order to have good working enviroment you must know the people around you. You must also respect them and their beliefs or motivations. If you do not know the people around you theymight be hard to get along with.

As a leader you could overcome these differences by finding the unique things you have in common to make it more interesting.A leader would go ask and try to figure out the commons and uncommon things in the person they are dealing with.

This activity is helpful to get to know people better. In the workplace you have to know co-workers better to optimize buisness plans and strategies.

In this activity I thought that I knew my partner very well ,but I found out that we had more things in common that I thought. You should not judge people on what they look like or how they act you should always get to know someone and respect them.
